It can hold the things you might put in one. But you don’t need to sit down, write, or have a polished thought. Rant, ramble, or think out loud to a plant. Keep what matters.

It listens. There’s no automatic reply to your rant. Ask is there when you want an answer from your history. Occasionally, after enough chapter history, a plant may hold one optional question for a later visit. Then it goes back to listening.

Talk is promptless by default. If you’re stuck, tap “Need a starting point?” for one optional question. Talk about it, ask for another, or skip it.

No dying plants, watering obligations, streaks or missed-day guilt. Growth comes from what you actually keep. Come back when you have something to say.

Keep the recording and grow your plant without using its words for patterns, people, plant questions, Ask or resurfacing. Optional Private transcription and audio backup are separate choices. Private isn’t a subscription feature.

Say it without keeping it. Burn is deleted when you stop, is never saved or uploaded, and doesn’t grow your plant.

No. Talk, saved moments, plants, chapters, your Garden and literal Search work on your iPhone without one. Sign-in and cloud processing are optional.

Every moment and plant stays. A premium plant you already started keeps growing and can complete. You can start any of the three free species; a new premium plant needs Pro.

We do not sell recordings or use them for advertising. Cloud processing is optional. OpenAI API data is not used for training by default; it may retain data for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring. Private words stay out of understanding. Read the privacy policy for precise details.

Delete moments, erase this iPhone’s PlantRant data or delete your account from Settings. Account export includes synced data, not local-only recordings, local audio or unsynced Private content. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel an App Store subscription.

One plant holds one chapter. Kept moments grow it. Close it when that period feels done, or let it mature. Its plant remains in your Garden when you start the next.

Pro uploads and syncs Garden structure to your account. Any signed-in plan can restore an existing account copy to a new iPhone. Words and audio have separate consent and backup settings; Garden structure doesn’t contain transcript text.

Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Restore in PlantRant Settings → Plan. A PlantRant account isn’t needed for Apple purchase restoration.
